KEEP UP WITH ORANGE COUNTY 4.0

The San Diego 4.0 VR for Good campaign provides our city leaders, caregivers, and frontline professionals with practical tools to support seniors, lifting their spirits and strengthening community bonds. This project teaches people to create dynamic VR experiences that highlight our neighborhoods, families, and shared history. Supporters will see that this is not about entertainment. It is about giving seniors the feeling of being present with the people and places they love. When more leaders understand how to create local VR content, we build a stronger network of community support.

The campaign also focuses on safe and caring delivery. We train caregivers and professionals to guide seniors through these experiences with confidence, clarity, and compassion. They learn how to prepare a senior for a VR moment, monitor comfort and stress levels, and ensure physical safety before, during, and after the session. Our VR for Good curriculum gives our caregivers new confidence and seniors a sense of trust, making every experience more meaningful.
